ODI World Cup 2023: In this ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, Team India is in the number one position in the current points table because the men in blue side have won three in three matches as of now in this year’s fifty overs tournament, which has been going on and played at home.

The men in blue side won their first match of the ODI World Cup 2023 against the Aussies at Chennai even when they had lost three wickets with just two runs on the scoreboard.

Then the skipper of the Indian team scored a magnificent ton against the bowlers of Afghanistan side which allowed India to win their second game.

India’s third win on the trot during this ODI World Cup 2023 came against their arch rivals side of Pakistan at the world’s largest stadium in Ahemdabad.

In that game as well, Rohit Sharma played a mind-blowing innings which took the men in blue side home without any tension and India has a winning streak of 8-0 in the ODI World Cup history.

Now the hosts of this ODI World Cup 2023 tournament, India will face a challenge against Bangladesh on Thursday, 19th October 2023 at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune.

After the hat tricks of wins, the men in blue side shouldn’t take the Bangla Tigers lightly because off late India’s record in the fifty overs format hasn’t been great against Shakib and Co.

As we all know and this thing has been mentioned in the past as well that Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are the only two Indian skippers still who have won an ODI World Cup Trophy till now.

MSD is also the only captain in the whole world of cricket who has won all three ICC trophies.

Apart from winning the ODI World Cup in 2011, under the leadership of Mahi Bhai, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy in England as well.
