Rohit Sharma will be the new captain of Team India for T20 and ODI. Soon Rohit's name will be finalized in the selection committee meeting. Sports website Inside Sports has given this news quoting sources from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It has also been said that Virat Kohli will continue to be the captain of the Test team.

According to the report, the BCCI official has denied having separate captains for all three formats. Virat has already decided to leave the T20 captaincy after the World Cup. He had sent his resignation to BCCI citing work load.
