Rajasthan Royal Broke the Heart of Millions of people in Yesterday’s Match

Rajasthan Royals played worse than village tournament. Mumbai Indians defeated Rajasthan Royals by 8 Wickets in 70 Balls.

In the second Phase of IPL, played the 51st match of the tournament between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. Mumbai Indians won this match in the wrong way by eight wickets. Mumbai wanted only 91 runs, which the team achieved by losing two wickets in 8.2 overs. Whether it is batting, bowling, or fielding, the team played worse than their village tournament. Team Rajasthan Royals looked helpless, but batsmen like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Evin Lewis, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey, David Miller, Glenn Phillips, and Rahul Tewatia in front of Mumbai Indian bowlers that couldn't even hit the ball in the first 70 balls.

Rajasthan lost in 70 balls

When team Rajasthan Royals came to bowl, Mumbai played amazingly well and defeated RR in 70 balls. It didn't expect from a great bowler like Chetan Sakaria that he'd throw two no-balls in an over and give 24 runs in a single over, making his team lose the match.

Rajasthan is poor in fielding

Glenn Phillips played very well in the match and had done excellent fielding, but the attitude of the rest of the team wasn't helping them much. Team Captain Sanju Samson got an easy opportunity to dismiss Rohit Sharma, but he could not catch the ball.

Mumbai remains in the race for playoff

In this match, the winning team could remain in the race for the playoff, while the losing team would have to play the rest of the game in the tournament, just to name a few. It was a fantastic opportunity for Mumbai Indians to beat Rajasthan Royals and improve their run rate. Mumbai played exceptionally well in the match to meet their requirements. And finally, they won this match by eight wickets in 70 balls. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals could not perform well in the tournament and lost the game.

KKR and Mumbai will fight for fourth place

So far in this season, the CSK, Delhi Capitals, and RCB have qualified for the playoffs. There is a competition between Mumbai and KKR for fourth place. With today's win, Mumbai's run rate (-0.048) has become much better than before. If in case, Mumbai wins against SRH, then they will have 14 points altogether. Now, Mumbai will have to hope that RR beat KKR in their next match. If KKR wins the game against Rajasthan, then they will easily reach the playoffs. Punjab's run rate is less than Mumbai and KKR, so they are almost out of the top 4 races.
