Fast bowlers Scott Kuggeleijn and Hamish Bennett have got a chance to return to the ODI team for the first time since 2017.
New Zealand announces Squad for ODI Series against India

 New Zealand has announced the squad for the 3-match ODI series against India starting on 5 February. Kyle Jamieson has been included in the ODI squad for the first time by New Zealand team selectors. Apart from Jamieson, two other players have been selected in the ODI team after almost 3 years. Fast bowlers Scott Kuggeleijn and Hamish Bennett have got a chance to return to the ODI team for the first time since 2017. At the same time, New Zealand team's most experienced fast bowlers Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry are out of the team due to serious injuries, while Tom Latham has been included in the 13-member ODI squad of New Zealand after recovering from injury.

Colin De Grandhomme, Jimmy Neesham and spinner Mitchell Santner have been included in the squad as all-rounders. At the same time, Henry Nicholas will be seen starting with Martin Guptill. For the first time after the final of the World Cup 2019, the team of New Zealand will play the ODI match. In this regard, Coach Gary Stead has said that our team is under no illusion to move forward. The New Zealand team is the runner up of the World Cup.

New Zealand's Spinner Ish Sodhi has got a place in the team for just the first match, as he will play an unofficial Test match against India A from 7 February. The first match of the 3-match ODI series will be played on 5 February at the Seddon Park ground in Hamilton. At the same time, the second match is to be played at Eden Park in Auckland on February 8, while the last match of the series will be played at Mount Maunganui on February 11.
