Australia pace leads Mitchell Starc, who had a fantasy spell in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, set another record for the most number of wickets in a solitary edition of the mega event. Starc achieved this accomplishment in the eighteenth over of England's innings after trapping Jonny Bairstow in front of the stumps in the second semi-final on Thursday.

That gave the left-arm quick bowler his 27th wicket of the competition in England and Wales, breaking the record of 26 of every a solitary edition he had recently imparted to previous Australia speedster Glenn McGrath.
