Paris Olympics 2024: The 2024 Olympics has given Manu Bhaker a new identity. She has made India proud by winning two bronze medals, one in the 10-metre air pistol singles and another in the mixed team event.

However, she missed out on a medal in the 25-metre pistol event, finishing in fourth place. Thus, she fell short of achieving a medal hat-trick in a single Olympics.

On Saturday, Indian shooting star Manu Bhaker admitted that she was a bit nervous during the final of the 25-metre pistol event, which led to her missing out on a medal.

What did Manu Bhaker Say?

After missing her third medal at the Olympics, Manu Bhaker said, "I was really nervous about it, but still, I was trying to stay calm and do my best. But it wasn’t enough. After scoring 28 in the final of eight shooters, Manu appeared disappointed but lost in the shoot-off to Hungary's bronze medalist, Veronika Major.

She remarked, 'The Olympics were great for me, but there’s always next time, so I’m already looking forward to the next one. I’m happy that I won two medals.' With tears in her eyes, she added, 'Well, fourth place isn’t a great position.'"
