The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shared the information on its official Twitter handle that Jofra Archer has suffered a stress fracture in Elbow, due to which he has also been ruled out of the 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka. At the same time, he will not be able to participate in IPL this year. England and Sri Lanka have to play a 2-match Test series from 19 to 31 March.

Right-arm fast bowler Jofra Archer played his last international match against South Africa in a Boxing Day Test match. He has not been playing any matches since then. At the same time, for the Rajasthan Royals team, this is also not less than a big shock, because he was the team's strike bowlers. In IPL 2019, Jofra Archer played 11 matches for the Rajasthan team. In these 11 matches, he had taken as 11 wickets in his name. In some matches, he was out due to injury, while he could not play the last few matches to prepare for the World Cup.
