India-Pakistan Bilateral Series Should Resume Soon, says Shoaib Malik

Former Pakistan captain and all-rounder Shoaib Malik has said that the bilateral series between India and Pakistan should resume soon. He believes that World cricket needs it and it should be started as soon as possible. It is just like Australia and England cannot think of Test cricket without the Ashes. Let us tell you that India and Pakistan have not played any bilateral series since 2007 due to the political tension between the two countries.

World cricket needs India-Pakistan Series just like Ashes:

Malik said, "I think the world is in dire need this rivalry to resume. This is just like the world cricket needs the Ashes. Could England and Australia imagine about Test cricket without the Ashes? Both these series are played with the same passion. So it is a shame that we are not playing it right now. "

He further said, "I have many Pakistani friends who like to talk about Indian players. I respect them, admire them a lot. Just like me and my Pakistani teammates get love and support while playing in India."  This is a competition that I want to start again and it will be good to start as soon as possible."

He said that there is a good chance for Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. He said, "I think we have a very good chance to win such an event you should have a good bowling attack and I think we have that. Along with that, the batting of the team is also very good."

Our fitness has been very good already and we are in better condition than last year. We have a very good chance of winning the tournament overall."
