In the first encounter of the three-match T20 series, India defeated West Indies by six wickets. He has also gained a 1-0 lead in the series as a result of this. West Indies batted first after losing the toss and scored 157 runs in 20 overs for the cost of seven wickets. India responded by chasing down the score in 18.5 overs for four wickets. Ravi Bishnoi, an Indian leg-spinner who made his international debut in this match, was named player of the match after getting two wickets in the same over.

Captain Pollard played an undefeated inning

West Indies batted first and scored 157 runs in 20 overs for the cost of seven wickets. In 43 balls, Nicholas Pooran scored 61 runs. Kyle Myers scored 31 runs at the same time, and captain Pollard played an undefeated inning of 24 runs in 19 balls.

Apart from that, no batsman was able to stand out. Brandon King scored four runs, Kyle Myers scored 31 runs, Roston Chase scored four runs, Rovman Powell scored two runs, and Akil Hossain scored ten runs.

Ravi Bishnoi was named player of the match

Ravi Bishnoi, who was making his international debut for India, did an outstanding job. In four overs, he took two wickets for 17 runs. Both of these wickets were taken by Ravi in the same over. Harshal too had two wickets to his name. One wicket each for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

In pursuit of the objective, Rohit Sharma smashed a 40-run innings in 19 balls. In his innings, he hit four fours and three sixes. Ishan Kishan, the most expensive seller in this super auction, was dismissed after scoring 35 runs in 42 balls. He was apprehended by Roston Chase and Fabian Allen. The Mumbai Indians paid Rs 15.25 crore for Ishan in the big auction.

After reaching 17 runs in 13 balls, Fabain Allen and Kieron Pollard took Virat’s wicket. Once again, Virat failed. He scored 8, 18, and 0 in three ODI matches earlier in the series. In this series, Rishabh Pant, the Indian team's vice-captain, was removed for eight runs in eight balls.
