India bowled first and bundled the number one ranked team for just 177 runs in their 1st innings of the 1st Test. The home side also continued to dominate the match proceedings with the bat as well.

They piled up 400 runs in their 1st innings and gained a lead of mammoth 223 runs.  That score was too much for the Aussies as they were bundled out for just 91 runs in their 2nd innings which gave India a massive win of an innings and 132 runs.

The Australians had a disastrous Test match in Nagpur. Their bowlers and batters had no clue how to stop Team India. But still, there is one big positive that they can build up for the second Test match in Delhi.

Todd Murphy is the only player from the Aussie country to be included in this list. He picked up a seven-wicket haul on his Test debut which is a great achievement.

The Aussies will hope that Murphy will continue to be lethal on these spin-heavy pitches in India.
