India's Women's team defeated Pakistan by 107 runs in the ICC Women's World Cup. Rajeshwari Gayakwad showed a great game for India. Smriti Mandhana, Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana scored half-centuries for India. Indian captain Mithali Raj won the toss and decided to bat first. India defeated Pakistan in the 11th consecutive ODI match. This is Pakistan's fourth defeat in the World Cup against India.
India's women bowlers showed a great game in the match. They cracked down on Pakistan's batsmen from the very beginning. Rajeshwari Gayakwad has taken 4 wickets while Deepti Sharma has taken 1 wicket. Jhulan Goswami took two wickets.
Sidra Ameen scored 30 runs, most runs for Pakistan. Apart from this, none of Pakistan's batsmen could play good innings. From India's side, Rajeshwari scored 31 runs in her 10 overs and was India's most successful bowler with four wickets. She was the hero of this match.
At one time the Indian team seemed to be confined within 200 runs, but based on the innings of Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana, Team India managed to reach a respectable score. Batting first after winning the toss, the Indian team started poorly and got the first blow in the form of Shafali Verma (0) on a total score of 4 runs. After this, Smriti Mandhana (52 runs) along with Deepti Sharma (40) added 92 runs for the second wicket. There was a partnership of 122 runs for the seventh wicket between Pooja and Sneha. Pooja played an innings of 67 runs in 59 balls with the help of eight fours, while Sneh Rana played an unbeaten 53 runs in 48 balls with the help of four fours.
At one time the Indian team seemed to be in trouble, but in the last five overs, the players of Team India batted vigorously and put India in a good position. Pooja Vastrakar scored 67 and Sneh Rana scored 53 runs in 48 balls. Nashra Sandhu, Nida Dar took two wickets each, Diana Bagh, Anam Amin and Fatima Sana took one wicket each for Pakistan.
