The England men's team will tour Pakistan for two T20Is in October ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced that both the matches will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on October 13 and 14. Eoin Morgan-led team along with women's team captain Heather Knight will reach Islamabad on October 9. The men's team will leave for Dubai on October 15, where the T20 World Cup is to be held. At the same time, the England women's team will play a three-match ODI series against the hosts at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on October 17, 19 and 21.

PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan in a statement said, "We are delighted to welcome both the England men's team and the England women's team, who will be touring Pakistan for the first time. In the last quarter of 2022, Pakistan and England will play white ball as well as Test series of the cycle of ICC World Test Championship 2023."

Schedule for T20I series between Pakistan and England:

England captain Eoin Morgan and women's team captain Heather Knight are both 50-over world champions. In the ICC T20I Team Rankings, England's men's team is at No. 1 and England's women's team is at second spot. The matches were earlier scheduled to be played on October 14 and 15 at the National Stadium in Karachi, but due to operational and logistical reasons, it has been rescheduled and will now be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Women's team will stay in Rawalpindi for the three ODIs on Oct. 17, 19 and 21.
