James Anderson and Stuart Broad have been the best pair of pace bowlers in the International cricket arena currently.

They have been very lethal in the conditions which suit the pace bowlers because they can seam and swing the ball from the first delivery.

In the first Test match against New Zealand as well, they were excellent and that’s why England has dominated the Test match proceedings till now.

James Anderson has been the most senior player in the current England Test side. But the age is just a number for this pacer while Stuart Broad hasn’t been too far behind also.

They have complimented each other so well that now they have picked up 1001 Test wickets as the fast bowling partners of the England Cricket Team, which is the greatest achievement for both of them and they are the only fast bowling pair to achieve this feat.

The fiery pace bowler Glenn McGrath and the spin magician Shane Warne also achieved the feat of getting 1000 Test wickets as the bowling partners in the red ball format.

James Anderson and Stuart Broad have joined them in this elite list as they have become just the second pair in Test cricket history to get to this milestone.

Not a single Indian bowler has been listed in the above table. Now the Pair of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja should aim to be the first spin bowling partners to take more than 1001 wickets in the red ball format as a bowling pair.

The spin-bowling all-rounders have picked up 439 wickets in 44 Test matches played till now as the bowling partners of Team India in the red ball format.
