CWG 2022 Ends: The Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 concluded on Sunday (8 August). A colourful closing ceremony was held at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham City, which was quite a sight.

Like the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony also showcased different aspects of Birmingham's history. It presented a glimpse of the era of the industrial revolution and the convergence of different cultures.

Britain's Prince Edward announced the conclusion of the 22nd Games. Let us inform you that the Games held in Birmingham lasted for 11 days, in which more than 5 thousand athletes from 72 countries took part.

Many eminent artists gave captivating musical performances in the closing ceremony. The list includes artists like Pop Band 40, Singer Apache Indian, Panjabi MC.

People danced fiercely on Panjabi MC's song 'Mundiya Tu Bachke Rahi'. Birmingham's famous rock star Ozzy Osbourne also stunned and enthralled the crowd at the stadium.

Apart from her, singer Jorja Smith also gave an unmatched performance at the closing ceremony.

CWG 2022 Ends: Australia won the most medals at CWG

Australia won the most medals at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games with 178 medals and finished first.

Australia grabbed 67 gold, 57 silver and 54 bronze. England finished second with 176 medals. England won 57 gold, 66 silver and 53 bronze. Canada bagged 92 medals with 26 Gold, 32 Silver and 34 Bronze.

At the same time, India ranks fourth with 61 medals with 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze.

India participated in this game for the 18th time. Indian players did not participate in the Commonwealth Games in 1930, 1950, 1962 and 1986.
