Sunil Gavaskar is a living legend of Indian cricket and many former players and captains do not shy away from praising MS Dhoni’s qualities as a keeper, batter and captain.

When asked about his preferred team in the IPL, Sunny Ji promptly replied that he would like to join the CSK team and play under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

Sunny Gavaskar was a batting hero of Indian cricket in his playing days. Before Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar was the one who ruled the cricketing world and Sunny Ji was the first batter to cross the ten thousand-run mark in the red ball format.

Gavaskar had retired a long time back even before the T20 format came into the picture. But now, he follows the game as a cricket expert and commentator.

Sunil Gavaskar wants to spend some time with MSD and see how he leads his side

In the interview which was taken by a popular sports show, Sunil Gavaskar also expressed his wish to play for Mumbai Indians as well.

However, he also said that he would like to spend some time with MS Dhoni and see how he leads his side.

Gavaskar also wants to experience how Dhoni handles the on-field and off-field pressure.

With that, Sunny Ji also wants to see whether Mahi loses his cool in the dressing room or in team meetings.

Sunil Gavaskar would love to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni very closely by being part of the same team in this cash-rich league tournament.

But this scenario is not possible now because Sunny Ji has not been playing for ages now.

In the interview with Star Sports, India’s number sports channel, Gavaskar said that the CSK Franchise is passionate about cricket and they have done a lot for the sporting culture in the country.
