Chennai missed out the last ball and lost the match it was the 39th match of the 12th edition of the year of IPL 2019. Apart from defeat, Chennai played a most thrilling match of this season against Bangalore and this is the third win of Bangalore after seven defeats in this season.
After the loss from the last ball the inning played by MS Dhoni was so adorable that's the one reason why everyone says "he is king in the jungle of cricket" and he scores unbeaten 84 runs in 48 balls in the era of his evergreen side. After the defeat, Chennai is still on the top and Bangalore is at the bottom.
Prior in the match Chennai won the toss and choose to ball first and then Bangalore scored 162 runs with the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs game and gave the target to Chennai in which Dhoni's army started very poorly and lost lose many important wickets in starting and made the match sop thrilling and in the end it was just a hard fall for Chennai.
The match was played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and from the side of Bangalore Thanks to the brilliant half-century by Parthiv Patel (53), Bangalore won a thrilling victory by defeating Chennai by 1 run and after the super inning from Parthiv, he became the Man of the Match.
In the end and in the match it was Dhoni who single-handedly took CSK to the doorsteps of victory. However, he failed to take CSK home as Shardul Thakur was dismissed while taking a single when CSK needed 2 off the final ball. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 84 off 48. His innings included 5 fours and 7 sixes.
The defending champions Chennai already face defeat in the last match in Hyderabad, which was their only second loss in the current season. It was the second consecutive win of Bangalore in this season of IPL 2019.
