Although the dishes made from paneer are not very spicy but as its name is spicy paneer masala, it is obvious that there will be more spice in it. If you are fond of spicy food, then you can make it on family get-together or on such special occasions. This paneer recipe is best to eat with naan or rumali roti. You too must try this dish once at home.

Ingredients:
Paneer 200 grams
Whole Cumin Half Spoon
Ginger 2 inch
Green Chili 2
Garlic 12 buds
Half a teaspoon of turmeric
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder one third teaspoon
Cumin powder one third teaspoon
Garam masala powder one third teaspoon
Black pepper powder quarter teaspoon
A pinch of salt
Oil 3 tablespoons
To decorate:
Green chili 2 long and cut into slices
For main dish:
Onion 1 big (finely chopped)
Tomato 2 medium-sized (finely chopped)
How to make Tart Paneer Masala:
Step 1:
First heat oil in a pan and add whole cumin seeds. Fry for a few seconds and then slow down the heat.
Step 2:
Now add ginger, finely chopped green chilies, garlic and fry for a while on medium heat.
Step 3:
Then add chopped onion and fry it on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 4:
Now add chopped tomatoes and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 5:
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and black pepper powder.
Step 6:
Mix all the spices well and cook for a while on low heat.
Step 7:
Now add Paneer and salt. Cover and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
Step 8:
Add garam masala powder and green chilli and mix well and turn off the gas.
Step 9:
Tart Paneer Masala is ready. Serve it with hot paratha, roti or puri or as a starter.
