Indian team defeated Pakistan in the 13th South Asian Games 2019 volleyball competition in Men's category. In the final match of the volleyball competition, India defeated Pakistan by winning the gold medal. In this match, India has beaten Pakistan by 3–1.

On behalf of the Indian volleyball team, Ranjit Singh, Deepesh Sinha and V Ajit Lal played brilliantly. With the spectacular performance of these three, India bags a big win over Pakistan. On the other hand, the Pakistan team won silver medal. Earlier in the year 2016 South Asian Games Pakistan won a bronze medal, but this time the team reached the final and got the silver medal.

Pakistan had overtaken India in the first set, when Pakistan had 25 points and India had 20 points. The Pakistan team won the first set, but the Indian fighters made a strong comeback under the captaincy of Jerome Vinith and won the second set by 25-15. With this, Pakistan lost its rhythm, which benefited India. India then defeated Pakistan 25–17 in the third set. The Pakistan team fought long enough to become the champion, but no maneuver of the Pak team was used here. India tied the fourth set by 25-25. After this, the experienced players of India performed well in the fifth set, defeating the Pakistan team by 29-27 in the last set and won the title by winning 3–1. With this win, the Indian team also received the gold medal.
