South Africa Announces Squad for T20 Series against England

The host South Africa has announced the squad for the 3-match T20 International series against England. After nearly a year in this team, veteran bowler Dale Steyn has returned, While Quinton De Kock has been appointed as captain, while regular captain Faf Du Plessis is still out of the team.

South Africa and England are scheduled to play a 3-match T20 series between 12 February and 16 February. For this series, Quinton De Kock has been appointed as the captain of the T20 team by the South Africa Cricket Board. Earlier on the tour of India also, Quinton was also appointed as captain of the team in the T20 series.

New officials of the South Africa Cricket Board have added two new players to the national team for the first time. Pite van Biljon and bowler Sisanda Magala have got a place in the T20 International team. Before this, two players have not played a single international match, while Dale Steyn, who played his last international match in March 2019, has also returned to the team.
