His son Karti Chidambaram is going on the road against the arrest of former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in the INX Media case. According to the information, they will participate in the Protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. They have come from Chennai to Delhi for this. He said during this time, 'It is not only my father but the Congress party. I will go to Jantar Mantar to protest against it.

During this he said 'I have never met Peter Mukherjee and Indrani Mukherjee in my life. I saw Indrani when the CBI took me to confront her. I have never had any direct or indirect interaction with people associated with his company.

Karti earlier targeted the Central government on Thursday. He said that his father's arrest has been done to divert attention from the issue of Article 370. At the same time, he has described it as an act of vengeance inspired by politics. He said this during a media interaction on Thursday.

He also said during this time 'this matter is baseless. This alleged case is of the year 2008, for which an FIR was filed in the year 2017. I raided four times. I was summoned 20 times. I have been present at least 10-12 hours in each summon. I also remained in CBI custody for 11 days. Everyone associated with me has been summoned and questioned. Even after this, we do not have any charge sheet. The truth is that this case is baseless. I have no affiliation with INX Media.

He remained missing for a long time before his arrest. After this, he came to the Congress headquarters on Wednesday evening and held a press conference here. In this, he denied the allegations being made in the case. After this he reached his residence in Jor Bagh. After some time, the team of CBI and ED arrived and he were arrested.
