Skoda launches new edition to increase sales of its MidSage sedan Skoda Rapid The European brand has introduced a special edition of the car, named Rapid Rider. This car will be available only Candy white and Carbon steel exterior paint shade. This is a limited variant, in which Black Grill, Black Deck at the Door, Blackout B Piller and Trunk Lip is given.
The car has an old 15-inch steel wheel which comes with wheel cover. Skoda has a wheel cover in the base variant of Rapid Active, while there are also available in the Special Edition variant. The interior of Rapid Rider comes with dual tone finish. Comes with Black and White Cronchrote on the Dashboard.
If we speak of the feature, most features of Rapid Rider are found in Rapid Active Variants. For safety kit, it has been provided with dual tone front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensor, anti glare rear view mirror and a rear defaulter. In addition, the car gets a remote central locking, a front and a rear center armrest, tilt and telescopic adjustable power steering, a 2-din audio system which is available in USB OX and Bluetooth compatible, four speakers and one rear AC vent standard.
Standard scood Rapid offers 1.6 liters of petrol and diesel engine options. Both engines have manual (5 speed unit petrol, 6 speed unit diesel) or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. While the Rapid Rider comes with only 1.6 liters of petrol engine and a 5-speed manual rear box. This engine provides torque of 105 horsepower and 153 nm.
At this price, the Skoda Rapid Rider compact sedan comes close to the car segment, in which the Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes from Rs 5.82 lakh to Rs 8.22 lakh and Honda Amazon costs Rs 7.81 lakhs from Rs 5.93 lakhs.
