Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu wrote a letter to Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi, seeking her time to discuss the 13 point agenda in view of the upcoming elections. Navjot Singh Sidhu has said in a letter to Sonia Gandhi that the 13 issues on which I want to discuss with you will also be included in our manifesto. He has said that these issues have been prepared on the basis of talks with grassroots-level activists, academicians, and local people.

He has also shared the letter written by Navjot Singh Sidhu to Sonia Gandhi on social media. Significantly, Sonia Gandhi reprimanded the leaders of G23 on Saturday. She says that the way they are using the media to express their personal opinion is not right.

After the rebuke of Sonia Gandhi, today again Sidhu has written a letter to her on the same lines. Navjot Singh Sidhu had recently resigned from his post. As he was initially having a dispute with former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and after that his new Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is also not being made. However, the party did not accept his resignation and Navjot Singh was persuaded after the intervention of the top leadership.

Navjot Singh Sidhu has written in his letter that for decades Punjab was the richest state in the country. And today it is the most indebted state of India. In the last 25 years, due to gross financial mismanagement, work has been done to make some powerful people rich and push the state into debt.
