On the third trading day of the week, Sensex and Nifty achieved a new place. At the end of the trade, the Sensex gained 206.40 points to close at 41,558.57 points, while the Nifty rose by 56.65 points to cross the 12 thousand 221 mark. During the trading, the SENSEX touched a record level of 41614.77 points. This is the all time high of the SENSEX.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Sensex touched a record level of 41 thousand 401 points on Tuesday. Let us know that at the end of trading on Tuesday, the Sensex closed with a gain of 413 points at 41 thousand 352 points, while the Nifty rose by 111.05 points to 12,165 points.
Mahindra & Mahindra was the biggest gainer in Wednesday's business. Shares of this company closed with a gain of 3.37 per cent, while Sun Pharma's shares gained 2.53 per cent. Similarly, shares of Asian Paint, ITC, HDFC Bank, HCL and Tech Mahindra also closed with gains of over 1 per cent. If we talk about declining shares, then Tata Motors, HUL, SBIN, Yes Bank, NTPC and Powergrid are included. Tata Motors shares closed down over 3 per cent.
Prince Pipe IPO begins, Raised 150 Crore from Anchor Investors
Pipe maker Prince Pipe has raised about Rs 150 crore from anchor investors. According to the information given to the regulator, the company has allocated 84.26 lakh shares to eight anchor investors at a price of Rs 178 per share. SBI Oman, Aditya Birla MF, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, Mirae Asset MF, HDFC MF, Tata MF and New Mark Capital participated in the bid.
Let us tell you that the initial public offering of Rs 500 crore of the company, i.e., the IPO, involves the issuance of new shares worth Rs 250 crore and the sale offer of Rs 250 crore. The company has fixed a price of Rs 177-178 for the IPO. The IPO will close on 20 December 2019.
