Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has selected his favorite all-time XI team in which he has given place to five players from Pakistan while only one Indian player managed to make a place in his team. Prior to Afridi, many veterans have selected the playing eleven according to their choice and now Afridi's name has also been included in this list. Almost all of the players Afridi has selected had played with him.

Shahid Afridi, who made his debut for Pakistan in 1996, has played with and against many great players in his time. Afridi, known for his aggressiveness, selected many great players in his team when he selected his all-time XI. He selected his teammate Saeed Anwar as the opener in his team while former left-handed Australian batsman Adam Gilchrist was selected as the second opener.
