The number of infected people has increased to 459 after seven new cases of Covid-19 infected were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, an official gave this information. Special Secretary (Health) Nupur Jindal said that three cases were reported from the Una district while two cases were reported from Solan and Chamba.
An official said that the truck driver, who was found infected in Nalagarh in Solan has been isolated in his vehicle. Apart from this, the former gram panchayat head of the Baddi area has also been found infected with the coronavirus. He said that a 23-year-old male in Kehl Bakan village of Chamba and a 25-year-old female in Saluni village has also been found infected with Covid-19.
At the same time, a person infected with the Coronavirus died in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday and 16 new cases of infected were reported. So far seven people have died in the state due to this deadly virus and a 58-year-old woman hailing from Hamirpur admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) in Shimla, died of infection on Wednesday.
