The Indian stock market continues to shine amid a positive trend globally. Sensex and Nifty reached record levels in early trade. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the Sensex showed a new high of 41480 points, while the Nifty was at a record level of 12,199.05 points.

Tech Mahindra, HCL, TCS, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto gained in the early trade. If we talk about declining stocks, then HUL, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Airtel, Asian Paint, ONGC, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank are included.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Sensex gained 413.45 points to close at 41,352.17 and the Nifty gained 111.05 points to a record high of 12,165.00. During the day's trade, the Sensex touched the highest level of 41,401.65 and the lowest level of 41,005.18. At the same time, the Nifty record reached an upper level of 12,182.75 and a lower level of 12,070.35.

On Tuesday, 21 out of 30 stocks of the Sensex rose. Tata Steel (4.38 per cent), Bharti Airtel (4.30 per cent), VEDL (3.50 per cent), Tata Motors (3.03 per cent) and HDFC (2.46 per cent) were the top gainers. Sun Pharma (1.37 per cent), Bajaj Auto (0.63 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (0.63 per cent), Hindustan Unilever (0.48 per cent) and Reliance (0.28 per cent) were the major losers of the Sensex.

The meeting of the GST Council is going to be held today i.e. on 18 December. The decisions of this meeting can be seen on the Indian stock market. Explain that it may be considered to increase the tax collection in the GST Council meeting.
