The stock market lost losses on the last day of the week. The Sensex fell 330.13 points to close at 40,323.61. During the business was slipped to 40,263.94.
The Nifty closed down 103.90 points at 11,908.15. The intra-day was down to 11,888.75. Analysts said the market was under pressure as rating agency Moody's reduced the country's credit rating outlook.
24 out of 30 Sensex stocks and 41 out of 50 Nifty stocks closed down. 8 out of 11 sector indices were on the NSE. The pharma index fell the most at 2.2%. On the other hand, the Reality Index was the biggest gainer at 1.6%.
