Friday was a volatile day for the Indian stock market. In the opening trade, the Sensex once again jumped and touched a record level of 42,063.93 points, while the Nifty crossed 12,385. However, at the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 41,945.37 points with a slight gain of 12.81 points (0.03%). At the same time, the NSE Nifty slipped 3.15 points (0.03%) to 12,352.35.

Vodafone Closed down by 26 Percent
At the end of trading, the shares of telecom company Vodafone-Idea fell by 26 per cent. Earlier, the shares had fallen by 35 per cent during the business. Let us tell you that the AGR (Adjusted Gross Revenue) reconsideration petitions of telecom companies have been rejected by the Supreme Court. However, at the end of trading, Bharti Airtel became the top gainer share of BSE Index.

IndusInd Bank's stock continues to fall

The private sector IndusInd Bank's stock has been declining since the quarterly results. In fact, the bank's NPA increased to 2.18 per cent during the third quarter, from 1.13 per cent in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. Due to this, the bank's shares closed down by 2.46 per cent on BSE index on Friday. Prior to this, the market had seen a decline on the two business days i.e. Wednesday and Thursday.

TCS profits increase

The country's IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a net profit of Rs 8,118 crore in the December quarter. Meanwhile, the company's shares closed down 0.91 per cent. Explain that the company's net profit in the September quarter increased by 1.8 percent to Rs 8,042 crore.

Piramal Enterprises up 5 percent

At the end of the business, Piramal Enterprises registered a gain of 5.18 percent. In fact, the company has signed an agreement to sell its Decision Resources Group (DRG) business to America's Clarivet Analytics. The impact of this news has been shown on the stock. Piramal Enterprises has done the deal for $ 95 million (Rs 6,745 crore). The company said in a statement that the deal is expected to be completed by the end of February 2020.
