The stock market remains at record levels on Thursday. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange's index Sensex and the National Stock Exchange's index Nifty have reached record levels. The Sensex opened today with a gain of 52.01 points at 41,924.74. By the time the news was written, it reached the highest level of 42,059.45. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty opened at 12,347.10 on Thursday with a gain of about 4 points. By the time of writing the news, it reached an all-time high of 12,389.05.
The Sensex was trading 149.83 points at 42,022.56 in early trade at 10.6am this morning and the Nifty was trading at 12,376.75 with a gain of 33.45 points. At this time, shares of 30 companies of the 50 companies of Nifty were seen trading on green mark and shares of 20 companies on red mark.
On Thursday, YES BANK, NESTLE INDIA, KOTAK BANK, POWER GRID and RELIANCE were among the top 50 Nifty stocks of the National Stock Exchange. Among the Nifty 50 companies in early trade today, the shares of VEDANTA LIMITED, TATA STEEL, NTPC, JSW STEEL and INDUSIND BANK saw the biggest drop.
Talking about sectoral indices, all the sectoral indices except Nifty Metal were trading on green mark in early trade on Thursday. Among them, 1.10 percent was seen in the most rapid Nifty media. Apart from this, 0.47 percent in Nifty Pharma, 0.27 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 0.25 percent in Nifty Private Bank, 0.30 percent in Nifty Realty, 0.02 percent in Nifty IT, 0.41 percent in Nifty FMCG, 0.21 percent in Nifty Financial Services, Nifty Auto Also, 0.21 per cent and 0.23 per cent were seen in Nifty Bank. At the same time, the Nifty metal was seeing a decline of 1.11 percent.
