Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has spoken for the first time on the allegations of his ex-wife Kavita. Raj has told in a long interview that his ex-wife Kavita had an affair, due to which he decided to part ways. Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has given a long interview for the first time about his first marriage and ex-wife Kavita. He has said that since the last few days, various allegations are being leveled against Shilpa on the basis of an old interview of Kavita Kundra and that is why she herself decided to come out in the open. Raj has spoken a lot in this long interview.
In an exclusive interview to our colleague ETimes, Raj said, "After years of talking about this issue, I feel lighter because I am able to speak the truth. I don't care what Kavita says about it now. My mother had caught my ex-wife Kavita and my sister's husband Vansh together red handed several times in an objectionable situation. 2 families were getting ruined here and they didn't even think about it.'
On talking to his ex-wife Kavita after the divorce, Raj said, 'I have never spoken to Kavita nor do I want to. I definitely tried to meet my daughter but Kavita's family never allowed this to happen. I know that when the time is right, my daughter will come to me. And I have only seen my for daughter 40 days. Then after marrying Shilpa, I came to India. Kavita does not want me to meet my daughter and at that time the court also ruled in favor of Kavita.
Raj further said, 'When I sent old articles going viral to Shilpa, she did not want me to talk about it. These articles went viral especially right after his birthday and it shocked me. Kavita betrayed me, okay, but I can never forgive them for the way two families were ruined. Shilpa is upset with my interview but the truth had to come out at some point or the other.
Raj Kundra married in the year 2003 after a long time relationship with Kavita, daughter of a business family in London. But after 3 years both of them separated. Both got divorced in the year 2006 Dilmber. About three years later, in 2009, Raj married Shilpa, but still Kavita had made many serious allegations against the actress.
