On Monday, the security forces personnel returning to complete the second phase of elections in Jharkhand took the life of their own officers. In Karkanala in Gomia, Bokaro, in the dispute over food, the soldiers started firing on their officers. In this firing, two officers including Assistant Commandant were killed, while four soldiers were injured. In Ranchi, in a holiday dispute, a security force jawan killed himself after firing his company commanding officer with bullets.

These incidents of bloody conflict on a minor matter also told the story of tension and discontent prevailing within the security forces. Both contingents of security forces have come to Chhattisgarh to conduct elections in Jharkhand and both were going to different districts for the next phase of elections after the completion of elections in Chaibasa.

On Monday morning, a temporary camp of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF), which took place at the Khelgaon campus in Ranchi, took place. Enraged over the complaint from the commandant here, the constable of the force, Vikram Aditya Rajwade, roasted his company commander, Inspector Mela Ram Kurre, with an INSAS rifle. After this, Aditya also shot himself. In this incident, the commander and the jawan died on the spot.

Mela Ram was a resident of Raipur in Chhattisgarh, while Vikram Aditya Rajwade was a resident of Surajpur. Two other soldiers, Nandkishore Kushwaha and Venudhar Dhurav, were also hit with the bullets. Both these jawans are injured. City SP Saurabh of Ranchi said that the jawan fired a full 20 rounds. Police is investigating every aspect, the reasons will be revealed soon.

The CRPF jawans and officers returning from Chaibasa after finishing the second phase, clashed with each other at Korkanala in Gomiya, Bokaro. In the mutual firing of the security forces, two officers including the Assistant Commandant died on the spot. At the same time, four soldiers were injured. Two of the injured soldiers have been brought to Ranchi for treatment. At the same time, two are being treated in Bokaro. Earlier, a Jawan of Chhattisgarh Armed Forces at Khelgaon CRPF Camp in Ranchi, fired indiscriminately on one of his officers in a holiday dispute and killed him. Later, the jawan also shot himself and committed suicide.
