New Delhi: State Bank of India, the country's largest public sector bank, has changed the service charge. Under these changes, the bank has abolished the IMPS charge for internet banking and mobile banking, while the IMPS charge has also been changed through the branch. According to the update, the IMPS charge on internet banking and mobile banking, including the YONO app, has been removed.

At the same time, there will be no IMPS charge on transfer from 0 rupees to 1000 rupees, even before this there was no charge on it. At the same time, the first IMPS charge from Rs 1001 to Rs 10,000 was Rs 2 plus GST charge, in which no change has been made for the branch. While it has been scrapped for internet and mobile banking.

On the other hand, IMPS transfers ranging from Rs 10,001 to Rs 25 thousand were previously charged at Rs 2 plus GST, which has now increased to Rs 4 plus GST for the branch. At the same time, transfer of Rs 25,001 to Rs 1 lakh was earlier charged Rs 5 plus GST, which has now been reduced to Rs 4 plus GST for the branch.

The transfer of Rs 1,00,001 to Rs 2 lakh was earlier levied Rs 10 plus GST, which has now increased to Rs 12 plus GST for the branch. In addition, SBI has also changed the non-maintenance of average monthly balance charge of the savings account.

Earlier, the Metro Center branch used to charge Rs 50 and GST for maintenance of average monthly balance of up to Rs 5000 and a reduction of 50 percent or more, which has now become 10 and GST. At the same time, before the balance was reduced by 50 to 70 percent, the charge was Rs 75 plus GST, which has been reduced to Rs 12 plus GST.

Whereas before the balance was reduced by more than 75 percent, the charge was Rs 100 plus GST, which has now been reduced to Rs 15 plus GST. With this, the maintenance of average monthly balance amount has been increased to Rs 3000, which was earlier Rs 5000. This charge is for urban and metro categories.

At the same time, there should be an amount of Rs 2000 in the account for the semi-urban category. When the amount was less than 50 percent, it was earlier charged Rs 25 and GST, which has been reduced to Rs 7.5 and GST. Whereas the reduction from 50 percent to 75 percent was earlier charged at Rs 50 and GST, which has been reduced to Rs 10 and GST. At the same time, when the amount was reduced by more than 75 percent, earlier 75 rupees and GST was charged, which has now been reduced to 12 more GST.

The maintenance of average monthly balance for rural areas should be Rs 1000. Due to which the amount reduced by 50 percent will be Rs 5 plus GST.
