Sarabjot Singh and Esha Singh won the gold medal in men's and women's 10-meter air pistol junior competition, respectively, in the 12th Asian Air gun Championship, in which the concluding day of the fourth day in Taoyuan, Taipei.

After that, the total number of gold medals in India has been eight. Sarabjot also won a gold medal in junior team category with Arjun Cheema and Vijayvir Sidhu.

India has so far won eight gold, four silver and two bronze medals in this competition. Sarabjot topped with a score of 579 in the qualifiers and after that, he beat Korea Woojong (236.6) of Korea by scoring 237.8 in the final. Vijayvir (217) won the bronze medal while Arjun Cheema finished fourth.

The three shooters of India, together, scored a total of 1718 and they were ahead of Taipei's 1699 score. Isha topped the qualifying team with 576 points in the girls' category. After that, he got the first place by scoring a score of 240.1 in the final.

Yun Seonjeong (235) of Korea won the silver medal. India's Harshada Nithave and Devanshi Dhama also made the final place but they remained in fifth and eighth place respectively. The scores of all three were enough to win a silver medal in the team event. Korea won the gold medal fifth and eighth place remain.
