Saina Defeats Pornpav Chochvong of Thailand in Women’s Singles Quarter-Finals

London Olympics bronze medalist and Indian player Saina Nehwal advanced to the semifinals of the Indonesia Masters Badminton Tournament on Friday, ahead of the victorious chariot. World number 9 Saina beat Thailand's Pornpaw Chochwong in the women's singles quarter-finals.

In the 33-minute match, Saina defeated Parnapavi 21-7, 21-18 in straight games to make the exit and made her way to the final-4. Saina is facing the fourth time for Thailand player. In the quarter-finals of Men's Singles, Kidambi was defeated by local player Jonatan Christie 21-18, 21-19 in straight games. Kidambi and Jonatan were faced to face for the fifth time on the court.
