BJP MP Sadhvi Pragyan Singh Thakur, who arrived in Bhopal from Delhi by a Spice Jet plane, sat on a dharna inside the aircraft if she did not get the seat of choice. At the request of the airport director, she got off the plane after about 20 minutes. She later filed a complaint against Spice Jet management for lack of services.
Sadhvi Pragya was coming to Bhopal on Saturday evening from Delhi with Spice Jet flight number SG2489. He was given seat number 2-A inside the aircraft. The MPs wanted to give them seat number A-1 in terms of protocol, but this seat had already been given to another passenger.
The plane landed at Rajabhoj Airport in Bhopal at seven in the evening. All the passengers of Bhopal got down, but Sadhvi did not get off. She sat on a dharna inside the aircraft. Spice Jet staff also requested her to come down, but she refused. Later, airport director Anil Vikram arrived inside the plane and requested the MP to end the picket. After that she got off the plane. Due to his flight not landing on time, the aircraft left Delhi for a delay of 20 minutes.
From Sadhvi Pragya Airport, former BJP district president Bhagwandas Sabnani reached Sant Hirdaramji's hut. Speaking to reporters here, Spice Jet's services were not good. The company is turning its back on its responsibility. The seat I had booked was not given. I have not staged, but have filed a complaint of lack of services. Sadhvi said that even before this, Spice Jet had not given proper service at the time of arrival of a woman governor.
