Even the SAARC countries are not untouched by the corona virus that is wreaking havoc all over the world. About 9051 cases have been reported in the member countries of this organization. Among them, Pakistan is first and India is second Infected countries. Although No SAARC country is currently avoiding it, 203 people have died in SAARC countries. India ranks first among SAARC countries in deaths from covid-19.
A total of 4,421 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in India, 3,981 people continue to be treated and 325 people have recovered and returned to their respective homes. According to the Ministry of Health, about 114 people have died due to this virus.
According to the news agency ANI, 354 cases have increased in the last 24 hours and 5 people have died. According to the ministry, tablighi Jamaat has become the main reason for the increasing number of its patients in India. In the capital Delhi alone, 500 cases have been reported. Apart from this, 168 out of total 308 cases reported from Uttar Pradesh are from the Tablighi Jamaat.
There are 4004 cases in Pakistan. 55 have died. The maximum number of cases have come from Punjab where around 2004 patients are affected by the virus. Sindh is at number two, 986 cases have been reported, where Khyber Punkhunkhavan is at number three, there are about 500 patients. At number four is Gilgit Baltistan with 211 patients. Number four is Balochistan where 202 patients are reported positive. At number five is Islamabad where 83 of its patients have arrived.
In Sri Lanka 180 cases have been reported, Where six people have lost their lives due to covid-19, and 38 patients have also been cured.
Also 164 cases have been reported in Bangladesh. During the last 24 hours 41 new cases have been reported, about 17 people have lost their lives, where 33 patients have recovered from hospitals and have reached their homes.
