Ruckus Over Migrant Workers, UP Workers will have to Take Permission from us Said- Raj Thackeray

This statement of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath did not stop the President of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Raj Thackeray, in which Yogi said that other states will now be able to call back the workers after the permission of the UP government.  Responding to this, Raj Thackeray tweeted that if this is the case then workers coming from Uttar Pradesh will also have to take permission from us, the Maharashtra government and the police.

Raj Thackeray has said in his tweet that the Maharashtra government should take serious note of this statement of Yogi Adityanath.  Whenever migrants enter Maharashtra in future, they should be registered with the police station.  In this, identity and full details should be taken.  Only after getting all these things should they get admission in Maharashtra.  The Maharashtra government should strictly follow these rules.

In his next tweet, Raj Thackeray said that migrant workers of Uttar Pradesh should have the right to vote only in the home state.  By law, a voter can have the right to vote in one place.  This fact should be known to Chief Minister Adityanath as well as other states.  Yogi Adityanath had announced to create a migration commission for the workers, saying that some states did not make proper arrangements for migrant workers of Uttar Pradesh.

While jumping into the controversy between Yogi and Raj Thackeray, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant has also taken the side of the migrant workers on the one hand and attacked Yogi.  He said that migrant workers are citizens of the country.  They do not need to get permission to work anywhere in the country.  Attacking Chief Minister Adityanath, Sawant called him incompetent and heartless Chief Minister.  He said that Adityanath does not have the vision to make Uttar Pradesh better, so that people there do not need to flee.
