The 56-year-old Isac was one of the three applicants met by the AIFF's specialized panel, headed by Thapa, on Monday. The specialized council had sent its suggestions to the official board of trustees of the AIFF to take an ultimate conclusion.

Gaioz Darsadze of Georgia and Jorge Castelo of Portugal were the other two competitors met by the specialized board.

The post of specialized chief stayed empty since Australian Scott O'Donnell chose to stop in 2017. Previous India player and mentor Savio Medeira was taking care of the post as break TD from that point forward.
