This year has been a great for Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of the Indian team. Rohit is currently the highest run scorer for India in a year. On his wife's birthday, Rohit Sharma shared a picture on social media and congratulated his wife on her birthday. While sharing the picture, Rohit Sharma has written the caption, "Many many happy returns my love, strength and game changer. Samaira and I are proud to have such a leading light in our lives." Ritika Sajdeh commented on the post, writing, "Aaawww Thank you that last picture, I don't remember it! Did I eat that whole muffin??" Earlier on December 13, both of them had congratulated each other by sharing photos on their wedding anniversary too.
Rohit and Ritika married after dating each other for six years. Rohit proposed Ritika in a very special way. Rohit took her to the Borivali Sports Club ground to propose where he played cricket for the first time at the age of 11. After proposing on 3 June 2015, Ritika and Rohit got married on 13 December. Both of them became parents of a daughter last year, whom they have named Samaira.
