On Tuesday, Rishabh Pant was hospitalized in Mumbai during the match. At the same time, he was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday evening. However, Rishabh Pant will undergo a rehabilitation process under the supervision of special doctors at the Bangalore National Cricket Academy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has issued a statement confirming that Pant will not play the next ODI.

The BCCI issued a statement saying, "Rishabh Pant was not allowed to take part in the game due to concussion after he was hit on the helmet in the first ODI. He was rushed to the hospital at night, where he was being monitored under specialists. Now Pant's condition is fine and there is no problem in his scan report.
