The Indian team under the captaincy of Virat Kohli is currently on a tour of England. Meanwhile, the Indian team has received good news ahead of the Test series against England as wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has joined the bio-bubble of the Indian cricket team after recovering from COVID-19. He has entered the bio-bubble during the practice match being played in Durham.

Pant's inclusion in the team before the Nottingham Test will strengthen the team. He tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago while on a 20-day break. After this, he was immediately sent to isolation following the coronavirus protocol.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the return of Rishabh Pant on Twitter. "Hello @RishabhPant17, great to have you back," BCCI wrote on its official Twitter. Pant has completed his isolation period of 10 days as per UK guidelines. Pant can play the 2nd practice match, scheduled just before the 1st Test on August 4.
