Resident doctors say that our strike is against certain provisions of the NMC bill. Resident doctors have been removed from the services. Faculty and advisory services are provided. If the government does not listen to us, then it will be considered one of the darkest days in the history of the medical fraternity.

Earlier on Wednesday, nearly three lakh doctors across the country were on a one-day strike. The nationwide strike was announced by the Indian Medical Association. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has opposed the passing of the National Commission Bill passed in the Lok Sabha in 2019. The IMA has announced that her fight against the Medical Commission bill will continue.

The IMA says that due to this bill medical education in medical colleges will be expensive. The bill states that the management of medical colleges will be able to sell more than 50 percent of the seats at a higher rate. Along with this, he says that in this bill, about 3.5 lakh people who have not studied medicine under the current Section-32 will also get the license. This can save the lives of people in danger. At the same time, the IMA also said that this bill has not properly defined the term of the Community Health Provider. Now that the nurse, pharmacist and paramedics will be able to practice with modern medicines and they are not trained for it.

With the implementation of the law, only one examination will be held for admission to medical colleges across the country. The name will be called the Shunal Eligibility Low Entrance Test (NEET). Even after completing his studies, doctors will have to test for medical practice. If he passes this examination then he will be given a license to do a medical practice. Based on this, admission will be made in post graduation. On this, doctors say that if a student can not take an exit exam for some reason, then he has no other option as there is no alternative to the second exam in this bill.
