Reliance Industries plans to invest Rs 75,000 crore in green energy in the next 3 years. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that India will become self-reliant in energy production. Also, Reliance Industries will be a net-zero carbon company by 2035. The price of hydrogen is expected to come down in a few years.

Addressing the International Climate Summit, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that India will achieve the goal of self-reliance. Climate change is a big challenge for the world. It is important to keep climate change under control. For this, we have to move fast towards green energy. Climate change is a global problem. This has to be dealt with together.

RIL working in the field of green energy

Mukesh Ambani said that green hydrogen is a better alternative to fossil energy. We have to come into the era of clean, green, and new energy. Keeping this in mind, RIL is working in the field of green energy. The company plans to invest Rs 75,000 crore in green energy in the next three years.

RIL to be Net Zero Carbon Company by 2035

Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Industries will be a net-zero carbon company by 2035. The company plans to set up 100 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. Solar will play an important role in energy production going forward. Adequate storage, smart meters will help solar. Green hydrogen will play an important role in removing carbon. Keeping all these things in mind, the company is working on its future plan.
