Reliance Foundation Collects a Record 78 Tons of Waste Plastic Bottles, Conveying Message of Cleanliness through Recycling

Mumbai: Reliance Foundation has taken a big step towards Swachh Bharat Mission. Reliance Foundation has announced that under its Recycling 4 Life campaign, its volunteers have assembled 78 tonne of waste plastic bottles for recycling. This is a record and it has been possible with the cooperation of three lakh employees of Reliance, their families, as well as the business partners of Reliance such as Jio and Reliance Retail. He has run this campaign under the message of cleanliness.

Recently Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation and Isha Ambani, director of Reliance Retail and Reliance Jio, attended an event at the completion of this campaign where they took stock of the collection of West Bottles. Nita Ambani participated in the recycling process of these bottles in RIL's recycling unit.

This was a huge campaign of the company and the Recycling 4 Life campaign was completed in October, under which employees had to collect waste plastic bottles from their surroundings and bring them to office for recycling. Reliance Industries and its associate business partners took part in this campaign across the country to take steps towards a clean and green earth.

Chairperson Nita Ambani said that under the Reliance Foundation we believe that it is our important responsibility to take care of our environment. Through the cleanliness drive, we are moving in this direction and spreading the message of Swachh Bharat.
