Chinese tech company Xiaomi has also launched some other products including the Redmi K30 smartphone. The company has launched the new smart speaker Redmi XiaoAI Speaker Play. Apart from this, a new Wi-Fi router Redmi Router AC2100 has been launched.
Voice recognition feature has been provided in the smart speaker. This smart speaker has a 5W speaker and has a virtual assistant that will work by listening to your commands.
Redmi XiaoAI Speaker Play is also on the lines of Amazon Echo and Google Home. This speaker has a dotted mesh design and the top has 5 LEDs. The company has said that it has been given the 3rd generation XiaoAI Virtual Assistant, which belongs to Xiaomi. It has also been claimed that 1,400 skills have been given in it.
Redmi can connect smart home applications with XiaoAI Speaker Play. The company has said that it has given self-developed voiceprint technology which will improve voice recognition over time and it will also be more accurate.
Pre orders are being taken in China for Redmi XiaoAI speakers. Its price is 79 yuan (about 800 rupees). Its sale will start on December 12 and it will be available in four color variants – Blue, Green, Pink and White. When it will be sold in India, it is not clear.
Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi Router AC2100. Dual band 2.4GHz + 5GHz is supported in it. The company has said that 128 devices can be connected to this router at one time. If we talk about the speed of connectivity, it has been claimed that it will be up to 2Gbps.
