Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has launched Redmi 8 in India today. Its starting price is Rs 7999. Along with this, the company has hinted that Redmi Note 8 Pro is being launched in India on 16 October. During the company launch, it is said that this month 16 64MP Quad Camera Beast is being launched.
In August, the company launched Redmi Note 8 Pro in China and this smartphone has a 64-megapixel quad camera setup. This smartphone has a MediaTek Helio G90T processor. Although this smartphone was to be launched in India after some time, but now it has been decided to launch it soon.
Since Xiaomi smartphones are selling a lot in the festive season. Recently, the company has claimed that more than 50 lakh Xiaomi devices have been sold during the DiwaliWithMi sale. Now the company will want to sell more and more in India by launching Redmi Note 8 Pro before Diwali. Perhaps this is the reason why the company has launched back to back Redmi 8A and Redmi 8.
Redmi Note 8 Pro is Xiaomi’s first 64 megapixel quad camera setup smartphone. For this, the company has used Samsung GW1 sensor. Realme XT has also been launched in India, in which the 64-megapixel sensor and both these smartphones are expected to compete.
Talking about the specifications of Redmi Note 8 Pro, this smartphone has a 6.53 inch full HG Plus LCD display. This smartphone has a 2GHz MediaTek Helio G90T processor. This processor is considered to be the best for gaming.
Redmi Note 8 Pro has 128GB internal storage with 8GB of RAM. Its battery is 4,500mAh and it supports 18W fast charging. This smartphone has a 20-megapixel front camera for selfie.
