Rava Dosa: Try this Healthy Breakfast Recipe at Home

Rava Dosa is a famous South Indian recipe. This is a recipe made from semolina and rice flour. This recipe is served with sambar and coconut chutney. The best thing about this recipe is that you can make changes according to it. You can make it as breakfast. You can make it with the help of easily available ingredients at home.

Ingredients for Rava Dosa Recipe:

1 cup semolina

½ cup maida

4 cups Buttermilk

4 tsp black pepper

2 tablespoons refined oil

1 tsp salt

1 cup rice flour

2 ¾ cups of water

1 chopped green chili

4 curry leaves

1 handful chopped coriander leaves

 Step 1:

To make rava dosa, first of all add 1 cup of rava and 1 cup of water in 4 cups of buttermilk and mix it well and leave this mixture aside for 15-30 minutes.

 Step 2:

Now mix rice flour, black pepper, salt, ginger, chopped curry leaves and rava in a bowl and mix it well. Keep mixing it with water in between, so that the lumps do not form, you can add finely chopped green chilies to it.

 Step 3:

Now heat a non-stick griddle on medium heat. Spread the dosa batter all over the pan. Pour 2-3 tsp oil or ghee on the edges and over the dosa. When the dosa is cooked on one side, flip it over. When it is fully cooked from both the sides, finally serve it hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
