The film industry has come to a standstill due to the corona virus. Shooting of all films was stopped and the release of films has also been postponed. Due to this, the film industry is suffering a lot. This is the reason that many films have decided to release the film on OTT platform instead of theatre. Meanwhile, reports started coming that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s film ‘83’ could also be released directly on the web and not in theatres. However, the truth is different.
Makers have confirmed that this will not happen. The film will be released in theatres first. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has given this information by posting on instagram. Taran Adarsh writes – Exclusive, ‘83’ will be released first in the movie theater, whenever the right time comes. It will not be released on the OTT platform first.
It was reported that the makers of the OTT platform offered Rs 143 crore. However, Shibashish, the CEO of Reliance Entertainment, the producer of the film, also called these reports a rumour. He told that VFX and post production work of the film is not yet complete.
