Ingredients:

12 Saffron Leaves

2 cups Makhana

2 tablespoons Ghee

1 tsp green cardamom powder

1/4 cup sugar

1-liter full cream milk

To decorate:

1 handful mixed nuts

How to make Saffron Makhana Firni:

 Step 1:

To make this delicious firni, firstly place a thick bottom pan on medium flame and heat ghee in it.:

 Step 2:

When the ghee gets hot, add makhane to it and fry it till it becomes crispy and light brown.

 Step 3:

Now take these makhanas off the flame and put them in a bowl and keep them to cool down.

 Step 4:

Once the Makhana cools down, put it in a ziplock bag and crush it with the help of a rolling pin.

 Step 5:

Now put another vessel on medium flame on gas and pour milk into it to boil.

 Step 6:

Put saffron in the milk and let the milk cook until it becomes half thick.

 Step 7:

Now put crushed makhane in the milk and keep stirring continuously. Milk will thicken as soon as it is added.

 Step 8:

Now mix green cardamom powder and sugar in the kheer and cook for a while and turn off the gas.

 Step 9:

Remove the prepared Phirni in a serving bowl and keep it to cool for a while.

 Step 10:

Now garnish this delicious and amazing creamy saffron Makhana Phirni with chopped dry fruits.
