Rajdhani Express: From Mumbai to Delhi, the Train may Run Daily by Central Railways

After seeing the good response received by the passengers to the first Rajdhani train, being run twice a week on the Mumbai-Delhi route by the Central Railway, the railway officials are considering increasing its swivel. Shailendra Kumar, the chief business manager of Central Railway, said that the train tickets from January are reserved for one hundred percent.

He said that from the very first day we are getting a better response from this train. Therefore, we are considering urging the railway board to run it daily. He said that this train is the best option for going from Agra to Mumbai and coming from Delhi to Nashik.

Most travelers book tickets for these two places. At present, two other Rajdhani trains are running from Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus on Western Railway route. This new train is the first railway train in Maharashtra which passes through Madhya Pradesh instead of Gujarat. Kumar said that the new Rajdhani is earning more than expected and they want more and more passengers to travel by this premium train.

This train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus every Wednesday and Saturday at 2.50 pm and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi at 10.20 am the following day.

This Rajdhani is also called the CSMT Rajdhani. Its number is 22221 and 22222. The Rajdhani Express stops at Kalyan, Nashik, Jalgaon, Jhansi and Agra Cantt stations. This train has increased the convenience of travelers from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
